"TED Talks" Talks Seafaring
Many of you have heard about TED talks. (TED Talks is a global set of conferences owned by the private non-profit Sapling Foundation, under the slogan "ideas worth spreading".) Now Rose George - a TED Talk speaker - tells of her time aboard a container ship and shares concerns and issues that are important to seafarers and should be important to each of us as global citizens. Very informative regarding the long months that some crew members spend on the ship. Especially if they don't have visas to go on shore to the different countries. Thanks.
