Sweeter Than Honey
You can listen to Psalm 19 below and read the passage in the New International Version here.
“The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.
The fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm,
and all of them are righteous.
They are more precious than gold,
than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey,
than honey from the honeycomb.”

In Psalm 19, David praises:
-God's glory revealed in the heavens (verses 1-6)
-God's goodness revealed in His Law (verses 7-9)
-God's love revealed in His grace (verses 10-14)
David delights in God's law, but he knows he doesn't obey it perfectly. In fact, he acknowledges that sometimes he does not even realize he is breaking God's law. He asks God to forgive him. He also asks God to keep him from "willful sin"— from doing things he knows are against God's law.
At the end of the chapter, David calls God his Rock and Redeemer. He knows that he is not strong, but God is. He knows he needs to be redeemed— bought back and rescued— because of his law breaking.
He delights in God's law and relies on God's grace
